Simple delicious doghnut recipe with eggs

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Wooden spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 300 grams All-purpose flour
  • 100 grams Sugar
  • 1 large Egg Room temperature
  • 7 grams Dry yeast
  • 1 whole Nutmeg
  • 200 ml Water
  • 3 cups Frying oil

Instructions
 

  • Add all dry ingredients : flour sugar nutmeg salt (salt should never come in direct contact with yeast)
  • Mix well and sift
  • Add yeast and mix to incorporate
  • Add egg and lukewarm water and mix together to activate yeast
  • Cover and let rise for an hour(rising time depends on temperature)
  • After an hour, punch out air and let rise again for 30 minutes
  • Heat the oil
  • Make small balls with fingers and drop donuts in hot oil
  • Constantly turn to evenly cook and brown
  • Serve with breakfast porridge,Tea or any other beverages
